Decorative Prints After Atelier Martine

A small collection of decorative prints after designs associated with Atelier Martine, the early 20th-century decorative workshop founded in Paris by Paul Poiret.
Playful, graphic, and full of color, these works were originally created for the decorative arts and retain the freshness of that world: flowers, birds, pattern, ornament, and a certain unapologetic delight in surface.
We’ve framed them simply in black to let the imagery do the work. Offered individually or as a set, they make especially good additions to hallways, guest rooms, powder rooms, and corners that need a little lift.
 
Each piece measures 69 x 47 cm including frame and matting. 
 
1) Floral Study I 
A bright, graphic floral composition, full of stylized blooms and saturated color. Its elongated vertical format makes it especially useful for narrower walls, between windows, or anywhere that needs a little decorative lift without visual heaviness.

2) Bird Study 
A lively decorative print, featuring a group of stylized birds rendered in vivid blues, oranges, pinks, and greens. Playful but sophisticated, it has the sort of graphic clarity that works beautifully in both traditional and more modern interiors.

3) Floral Study II 
A bold floral composition, with stylized blooms and foliage in coral, pink, green, and deep blue. Cheerful without being saccharine, it brings a strong decorative note to a room and pairs beautifully with the companion bird and floral prints.
